| Great Break!!!
I saw lots of family over the break. One of the things I got for Christmas is new supplies for my first-aid kit (so, Unionites, keep coming to me with your medical needs). I also made a LOT of food (which I haven't done in a while), and as a result, I ate a LOT.
Also, this was the best New Year ever. I went to a great party with some family in Texas, and I met a lot of new people. Some words to describe the awesome 24 hours: family, friends, food, beverages, karaoke, farkle, refrigerator magnets, kissing, dancing, random phone calls, big bed, beautiful breakfast, more farkle & magnets, and last but definitely not least...riverwalk. | | |
| Finally made it through the first semester of Nursing School, and I'm home for Christmas!!!
Because I'm taking a J-term (ART 210), I'm going to need some money, and I was not able to get a job in Jonesboro because the place I was going to work is overstaffed. So, I either need to get back to Jackson early or just go without food for a few days when I get back. Either way, it will be fun, right?
I went to Jackson yesterday for my 2nd interview at the hospital; I guess it went well. And afterwards, I just hung out with friends. It was a blast! El Chico's with Nathan, Alisha, & Brett was too funny because that was the first time I met Ms. Ruby. She is an awesome lady! Then, Beth, Parker, and I went to the Christmas house (my 3rd time this year). It will probably be my last time this year, but there is always next year. Then, coffee at Season's (my first time there), and Parker & I realized that Beth found a man under a Christmas tree (wink, wink!). So, it was a great night just being in Jackson, hanging out, meeting new people, no schoolwork/job obligations.
